Grau & Associates is proud that our professionals are some of the most experienced auditors in the field. Unlike many other firms, our auditors work almost exclusively with governmental and non-profit entities. This means that they are more knowledgeable and efficient on these types of audits. Additionally, our very low turnover rate means that you won’t have to worry about retraining your auditors from year to year.

Our Partners are Certified Public Accountants with nearly 50 combined years of diverse public accounting experience. They are responsible for overall engagement performance, policy, direction and quality control. Our partners take a hands-on approach to each engagement, ensuring a smooth process. Due to management’s active participation and involvement, expertise is only a phone call or email away.

All of our Audit Managers are Certified Public Accountants who have demonstrated the ability to plan audit engagements, supervise personnel and develop a professional relationship via frequent contact with clients. They continually upgrade their skills through the firm’s continuing education programs and courses sponsored by the AICPA, FICPA and GFOA.

All of our Senior Auditors have a minimum of three years of diversified public accounting experience. They perform audits, evaluate staff, review findings and prepare audit reports.

In order to maintain our high level of technical competence, we provide continuing professional education programs that exceed national, state and regulatory standards for all partners and professional staff members.

Because of our extensive experience, we are adept at making the transition to a new firm as effortless as possible. We work closely with you to resolve any issues that arise and maintain regular contact so there are no surprises when the final report is delivered. Our engagement team reports potential audit adjustments on a regular basis so you will have adequate time to research and respond. Additionally, we have a disaster recovery plan that includes daily data back‐ups and offsite file storage to ensure that your records are secure in the event of an emergency.
